Georgia Ann Kramr

August 16, 1931 — November 25, 2022

Georgia Ann (Holacka) Kramr, age 91, of Houston, formerly of West, passed away late  Friday afternoon, November 25, 2022 at Parkway Place in Houston.


A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Timothy Vaverek as celebrant, assisted by Deacon Ronnie Sykora.  Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.


Georgia was born August 16, 1931 in Penelope, the daughter of Willie and Nora (Knapek) Holacka. She attended school in Penelope before graduating from West High in 1948. On January 28, 1953 she was united in marriage to Louis Kramr in West.  Louis preceded her in death on May 12, 2006. Georgia was a faithful member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Houston. She was a homemaker and Mother. Georgia enjoyed painting, bowling, baking, cooking, dancing, collecting, quilting, and volunteering at church and school. She loved spending time with her family.


Georgia is also preceded in death by parents; a daughter, Sharon Kramr; and a son, Micheal Kramr.


Survivors include her children, Judy Castille and husband Ralph of Katy, Jackie McBride and husband Gregg of Houston, and John Kramr and wife Deanne of Austin; her grandchildren, Kirby and Alyssa Castille, Logan and Grace Castille, Shannon and Sam Bormann, Rachel Castille, Aaron and Molly McBride, Daniel McBride and girlfriend, Jennifer Walter, Austin and Lisa Kramr, Madison and Brent Schaekel, Cameron and Bailey Kramr, and Colin and Vanessa Kramr; great grandchildren, Nora Beth, Laine, Davis, Carter, Liam, Amelia, Balen, Brannan, Ollie, Owen, and Kinsey; and many other relatives and friends.


Pallbearers are Kirby Castille, Logan Castille, Aaron McBride, Daniel McBride, Austin Kramr, Cameron Kramr, and Colin Kramr.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or the charity of your choice.
