George Lynn Crum, age 70, of Waco, passed away late Friday night, June 15, 2012 at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco. Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Bold Springs Cemetery near West, with Rev. James Stevens officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. George was born December 13, 1941 in Bellmead, the son of George C. and Dorothy Rose (Dawson) Crum. He attended school at LaVega. On May 12, 1959 he was united in marriage to Emily Sink in Waco. She preceded him in death on August 29, 1995. George worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 30 years before retiring in 2002. He was a member of the AFL-CIO. He enjoyed collecting antiques and railroad memorabilia. George is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dan Crum. Survivors include a daughter, Beth Dahman of Waco; two sons, Steve Crum and wife Mary of Waco and Clint Crum and wife April of Mesquite; a brother, Kyle Crum; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
