Gary Allen Busby, age 63, of West, passed away peacefully Monday evening, September 17, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrel Phillips officiating. Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Dougherty Cemetery near Emory, Texas. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Gary was born December 5, 1948 in Dallas, the son of William Allen and Omega (Hinshaw) Busby. He attended the Denton State School. Gary worked for Central Texas Frame and Alignment in Elm Mott. He enjoyed singing karaoke to the "King", Elvis Presley. When he wasn't busy working at the shop, Central Texas Frame and Alignment, you could find him near the fishing ponds on any given sunny day hoping to make the big catch! He looked forward to Sunday mornings so that he could go eat a big breakfast and socialize with the nice ladies, whom he called all his women friends at the Auction Sale Barn Caf in West. I am sure he will be remembered by all of them who catered to him like he was their own child. He touched the lives of every person he came in contact with and will always be remembered for his willingness to lend a helping hand to put the tools back in the tool boxes where they belong, whether you were finished using them or not. Gary is preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law, Jim Richardson and Jack Parker. He will forever be remembered by his devoted brother, Danny Busby and sisters, Sharon Richardson, Sandra Suggs, and Shirley Parker; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Bill Jones, Randy Henexson, Delton "Feller" Marcott, JR McGaughy, Caleb Kubala, and David Suggs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MHMR. The family would like to thank the nurses and aids at Providence Hospice along with each and every one of you that stopped your busy lives for a moment in time to give all that you did to make Gary's life worthwhile. The family appreciates your kindness.
