Frankie Cdebaca

Frankie CdeBaca, age 75, of West, passed away early Wednesday afternoon, September 17, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in West. A rosary will be recited 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, followed by visitation until 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Paul Hudson as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Frankie was born November 25, 1938 in Clayton, New Mexico the son of the late Fulgencio and Frances (Daugherty) CdeBaca. He was a 1957 graduate of Plainview High School and attended Texas Tech University and Price College in Amarillo. On February 6, 1960 he was united in marriage to Patsy Vanek in Plainview. Frankie was the owner of A.O. Prosthetics Center in Ft. Worth for over 48 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council in Arlington and the ABC Certified Amputee Coalition Group. Frankie enjoyed taking amputee groups snow skiing during spring break, and also liked to go off shore fishing. He especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Patsy CdeBaca of West; a son, Greg CdeBaca of Corpus Christi; daughters, Janet Adams and husband Rick of Kennedale, Diane Sullivan and husband Paul of Southlake and Michelle Graham and husband Brandon of Joshua; brothers, Jerry CdeBaca and wife Kathryn, Pat CdeBaca and wife Debbie and Michael CdeBaca and wife Becky; sisters, Mable Myers and Melinda Thompson; grandchildren, Ryan, Brooke, Kirbi, Grady, Kasey, Taylor, Hunter and Justin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers are Ryan Adams, Grady Sullivan, Justin CdeBaca, Taylor Graham, Allen Vanek, Steve Vanek, Zach Vanek, Gary Kazda, and Daryl Kazda. Honorary pallbearers are Brooke Adams, Kirbi Sullivan, Kasey Sullivan, Hunter Graham, Trisha Vanek, Ashlee McGibbons, Krystal Vanek,Kimberly Thompson, William Meyers, Tim Meyers, Dennis CdeBaca, Brian CdeBaca, Chad CdeBaca, Jonathan Thompson, Michael CdeBaca. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Rest Haven Disaster Relief Fund and West Volunteer Fire Department.
