Frank Reichardt

Frank Reichardt, age 68, of Belton, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Waco, with visitation to follow until 5:00 p.m. Frank was born June 13, 1948 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, the son of Frank and Carolyn (Pierce) Reichardt. He graduated from Riverside High School in California in 1966 and on November 25, 1972, he was united in marriage to Joyce Kubala in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. He worked with the Community Disposal Service in Conroe for 10 years and moved to Waco in 1985 where he worked as a conveyor mechanic for AAFES until his retirement in 2010. He was also a massage therapist for the Getterman Wellness Center from 1996 until 2015. Frank enjoyed gardening, wind surfing, body surfing, skateboarding, flying kites, playing the guitar and sitting around his fire pit. He also loved walking his dogs around the lake and lived to spend time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events. Frank is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Henry Kubala and brothers-in-law, Ken Bernsen, Kenneth Kubala, Mike Click, Mark Lansdown, Mack Ladd and Jerry Carter. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Reichardt of Belton; his daughter, Heather Jenkins and husband Bryan of China Spring; his brother, George Reichardt and wife Jane; his mother-in-law, Josie Kubala; sisters, Nancy Ladd, Sandy Reichardt and Karen Carter; sisters-in-law, Janice Bernsen, Sandra Kaplan, Vicki Clanton and husband Lynn, Yvonne Lansdown, Patti Click and Margaret Kubala; grandchildren, Cameron Jenkins, Emily Jenkins and Reese Jenkins; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
