Frank Dvorak, age 80, of Waco, formerly of the West area, passed away early Thursday afternoon, August 2, 2012 at Providence Health Center in Waco. A rosary will be recited 12:00 noon Sunday at Aderhold Funeral in West by Janice Kaluza, followed by a visitation until 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco, with Rev. John Guzaldo as celebrant. Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Penelope. Mr. Dvorak was born December 17, 1931 in West, the son of William "Willie" and Emily (Dibra) Dvorak. He attended schools in the Tokio and Ross. On September 21, 1963, he was united in marriage Dorothy (Mraz) Dvorak in Penelope. He worked in lumber sales for Sligh Lumber Company and Payless Cashways before his retirement in 1997. He also worked for Eagle Security Systems and farmed. Frank was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco. He was also a member of K.J.T. Society, S.P.J.S.T. Lodge #66, and a 50 year member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1358. He enjoyed listening to polka music and attending church picnics. Frank is preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Samantha Pelham; two brothers, Henry Dvorak and John Dvorak; and a sister, Lucille Dudik. Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Dorothy Dvorak of Waco; two sons, John W. Dvorak and wife Melody and Bobby Dvorak and wife Annette, all of Itasca; two brothers, Joe Dvorak and wife Elsie and Willie Dvorak Jr, all of West; his sister, Agnes Rochen and husband Winslow of Waller; five grandchildren, Jacob, Autumn, Brandon, Amber, and Amanda; a great granddaughter, Savannah; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Mark Dvorak, Brandon Dvorak, Jacob Pelham, James Garrison, Marvin Dudik, Lambert Dudik, John L. Dvorak Jr., and Steve Marek. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for help with expenses. An account has been set in Frank's name at the Citizens State Bank in Itasca.
