Feryn Louise Schulte

Feryn Louise Schulte, age 12, of West, passed away early Friday afternoon, February 20, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. A Divine Mercy Chaplet will be recited 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Ed Karasek, Rev. Boniface Onjefu, Rev. Paul Hudson and Rev. John Guzaldo as celebrants. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Feryn was born December 20, 2002 in Waco, the precious daughter of Tim and Susan (Mynarcik) Schulte. She attended St. Louis Catholic School in Waco. She recently played Noell for the 6th grade school Christmas Play and enjoyed singing with the St. Louis School Choir and playing with the Handbell Choir. Feryn also played volleyball and basketball for the past several years. She was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption where she was an Altar Server. Feryn enjoyed dancing, singing, doing crafts, playing with her IPad, camping on the river and riding horses. She especially loved spending time with her brothers and sisters and having lots of fun at family gatherings. Survivors include her parents, Tim and Susan Schulte of West; her brothers, Paden Schulte and wife, Maeli of Belton and Keton Schulte and girlfriend, JoAnn Salinas of San Antonio; her sisters, Shyan and Adryn Schulte of West; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Carol Mynarcik; her paternal grandparents, Glenn and Anita Schulte; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Louis Catholic School Scholarship Fund, Reicher Catholic High School Scholarship Fund or to the St. Mary's School Endowment Fund.
