Elizabeth (Hrabal) Parker, age 93, of Frisco, formerly of West, passed away late Friday evening, September 18, 2009 at the Victoria Gardens of Frisco. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at Bold Springs Cemetery near West, with Rev. Ed Karasek officiating. Mrs. Parker was born December 12, 1915 in West, the daughter of Rudolph and Frances (Bacak) Hrabal. She attended schools in Dallas and graduated from Abbott High School in 1932. Elizabeth worked as a transit operator for the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas for 25 years before her retirement in 1965. Also in 1965 she was united in marriage to Newell "Bill" Parker in Dallas. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1976. Elizabeth also worked for El Jay's in West. She was a great mom and an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers Fan. Her parents; two brothers, R.J. Hrabal and J.D. Hrabal; and two sisters, Boots Meadows and Ann Carr; also preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Otis H. Morse, Jr. and wife Kristine of Plano; a sister, Diane Williams of Clifton; two grandchildren, Matthew Morse and Melanie Ingram; three great-grandchildren, Kyndall Morse, Madilynn Morse, and Brynn Payne; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
