Elenora (Machovsky) Muehlstein, age 96, of West, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 25, 2015 at Providence Hospice Place in Waco. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Elenora was born November 13, 1918 in West, the daughter of John and Mary (Hykel) Machovsky. She attended St. Mary's School and West High School. On June 25, 1940 she was united in marriage to Frankie J. Muehlstein Sr. Frankie preceded her in death on December 29, 2000. Elenora was a seamstress for Lorch Manufacturing in West and Mauloff Manufacturing in Hillsboro. Her favorite career was a Mother and homemaker. Elenora was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. She was also a member of the KJZT Society in Abbott, Catholic Daughters of America Court #829 in West, KJT Society Associate, Catholic Workman and the Ladies Garden Club in West. Elenora enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and baking. She especially loved spending time with her family. Elenora is also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Janice Caldwell; and a grandson Jeremy Caldwell. Survivors include two sons, Frankie Muehlstein Jr. and wife Barbara of China Spring and Patrick Muehlstein and wife Jackie of Longview; three daughters, Rita Pustejovsky and husband Erwin of Combine, Mary K. Marusak and husband George of Georgetown and Betty Page and husband Gary of Waco; a son-in-law, Jerry Caldwell of Temple; a sister, Evelyn Muehlstein of West; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers are David Muehlstein, Eric Muehlstein, Kevin Muehlstein, Erwin Pustejovsky Jr., Jacob Muehlstein and Robbie Shockey. Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Janice Muehlstein Caldwell Endowment Fund. The family would like a special thanks to Providence Hospice for the compassionate and loving care of our mother.
