Eileen E. Evanich

Eileen E. (Kyselka) Evanich, age 90, of West, passed away late Saturday night, June 9, 2012 at West Rest Haven in West. As per her request, there will be no services. Eileen was born January 8, 1922 in West, the daughter of Lee and Rosie (Slovak) Kyselka. She attended schools in West and was a graduate of West High School. On September 19, 1957 she was united in marriage to James J. "Jim" Evanich at St. Aloysin's Catholic Church in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1989. Eileen was a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. She and James spent over 36 years in Springfield where they were very active with the Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council #4179. Eileen is also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Willie Kyselka, Joe Kyselka, and Edwin Kyselka; and a sister, Christine Wyninger. Survivors include two sisters, Rosalie Eastwood of Gholson and Marlene Wilkinson and husband Johnny of Ft. Worth; a brother, Herman Kyselka of Lawton, OK; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
