Edward Ernest Grimm, age 75, of Robinson, passed away Monday, February 20, 2006 in Waco. A rosary will be recited 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Grimm was born September 3, 1930 in West, the son of Herman and Frances (Soukup) Grimm. He attended St. Mary's School and West High School. On June 14, 1968 he was united in marriage to Linda Faye Soukup in West. He was a barber since 1952 working at the Parkdale Barber Shop in Waco and was the Marine Base barber for 35 years. Edward was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco. He enjoyed fishing, yardwork, watching old westerns, and especially his grandchildren. His parents and a sister, Marsha Grimm, preceded him in death. Survivors include his beloved wife of 37 years, Linda Grimm of Robinson; a son, Douglas E. Grimm of Oregon; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Bonnette and husband James of Athens; a brother, Bill Grimm and wife Laurann of West; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Karena, Trevor, Andrew, and David Grimm, Adrian Booth, Jenifer, Jessica and Jeana Bonnette; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Parish Center.
