Edward E. Krueger, Sr.

Edward E. Krueger Sr., age 81, of West, passed away late Monday night, April 26, 2010 at West Rest Haven in West. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Martin's Cemetery near Tours, with Msgr. Isidore Rozycki officiating. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Krueger was born March 24, 1929 in Malone, the son of Louis F. and Minnie (Huse) Krueger. He attended schools in Malone. On June 9, 1956 he was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Tichavsky in Tours. Edward was a farmer and worked for the city of West for 14 years before retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Malone. He was also a member of RVOS in Cottonwood and Farm Bureau. Edward is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Walter Krueger, Alvin Krueger, and Henry Krueger; and four sisters, Bertha Kruger, Mae Hill, Esther Kruger, and Amanda Kochuba. Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Barbara A. Krueger of West; a daughter, Laverne Neal and her fiance, Charlie Saulter of Hallsburg; a son, Eddie E. Krueger Jr. and wife Nancy of Bynum; a brother, Vernon Krueger of West; a sister, Leona Allen of Hillsboro; six grandchildren, Dana Miller and husband David, Heather Krueger, Heath Krueger, Michael Vrana and wife Heather, Tonya Neal and Kevin Neal; a great grandson, Tristan Miller; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Heath Krueger, Michael Vrana, Kevin Neal, David Miller, David Krueger, John Moreno, Ronnie Sijansky, and Perfecto Moreno. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Rest Haven Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice.
