Frances Earlene Adair Pospisil, age 95, of West, passed away early Monday morning, November 6, 2023 at West Rest Haven in West.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, with Brother Dennis Adair officiating.
Earlene was born September 27, 1928 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Earl and Jimmie (Vaughan) Lewis. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. In 1943 she was united in marriage to James A. Adair in Hillsboro. James preceded her in death in 1993. Then in 1998 she was united in marriage to SSGT Frank Pospisil USAF Ret. in Waco. Frank preceded her in death in 2010. Earlene was a member of the Log Cabin Fellowship. She was a lab technician for the old Grant Bowie Hospital in Hillsboro and for Dr. Charles Allen before retiring. Earlene enjoyed dancing, reading, and watching her favorite soap operas, especially The Young and The Restless. She loved spending time with her family.
Earlene is also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Tommie Martin; and a great granddaughter, Megan Hooker.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis R. Adair and wife Donna of Lorena and Mike Adair and wife Mary of Weister, OK; her grandchildren, Mike Adair II, Ronnie Petter, Kimberly Epps and husband Scott; and Andrea Hooker and husband Jerry; her great grandchildren, Joey Petter and wife Morgan, Amber Hooker, Kimberly Hooker, Olivia Epps, and Jordan Puryear and husband Brad; a great great granddaughter, Corey; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
