Dwyatt Stringfellow

Dwyatt V. Stringfellow, age 73, of Riesel, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at his residence. No services are scheduled. Dwyatt was born September 23, 1938, the son of Larince and Bertha (McKibbon) Stringfellow in Mangum, Oklahoma. He served his country with the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict. Dwyatt worked in industrial maintenance in Odessa, Houston, and Pasadena. He enjoyed panning for gold, camping, watching NASCAR races, and spending time with his family. Dwyatt is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Homer Casey; and his aunt who raised him, Jean Finck. Survivors include two daughters, Dana Smotherman and husband Ken, Jr. of West and Toni Norton of Arlington; a brother, Bill Casey; a sister, Alma Burns; six grandchildren, Kasey, Whitney, Beau, Keisha, Lindsey, and Trey; three great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
