Donna Jeannine Arthur

Donna Jeannine Arthur, age 79, of West, passed away Monday morning, October 18, 2010 at her residence. Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Bold Springs Cemetery near West, with Ben Mauldin officiating. Mrs. Arthur was born December 5, 1930 in Guthrie, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lauren and Marguerite (Simmons) Williams. On January 25, 1947 she was united in marriage to James Arthur in West. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2004. Donna worked as a secretary for several businesses. She enjoyed watching television, reading, doing yard work, caring for her house, and taking care of her animals. She was a member of the Central Texas Church of God in Waco. Her parents; a son, Tommy A. Arthur; and a brother, Jerry Williams, also preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Michael R. Arthur and wife Charlynne of Round Rock; a daughter, Marguerite Beasley and husband Clifton of West; six grandchildren, Robert Arthur and wife Lindsay, Kristi Seidel and husband Stephen, Nicole Sessums and husband Brian, Tina Kucera and husband Tim, Cody Beasley, and Rebeccah Beasley; seven great grandchildren, Taylor, Chloe, Chad, Ethan, Landon, Kyran, and Kaylee; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
