James Donald "Don" Wolske, age 75, of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, formerly of West and Waco, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Latrobe following a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of Don's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. Jonathan Ford officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Private burial will take place at Riesel Cemetery. Don was born July 23, 1941 in Mart, the son of Edwin and Alma (Hill) Wolske. He was a graduate of Riesel High School. Don retired from Owens-Illinois/Owens-Brockway in 1993 and at the time of his death had been employed by Home Depot for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Antoinette "Toni" Wolske of Latrobe, PA; a son, James "Bubba" Wolske and wife Shelley of West; daughters, Aimee Shelton and husband Marshall "Bud" of West and Caroline Ondrej and husband Lance of Cypress; grandchildren, Cassidy Shelton, Seth Wolske, Holden Ondrej, Evan Ondrej and Aiden Ondrej; a great granddaughter, Brynlee Anne Rodriguez; a brother, Jimmy Wolske and wife Jacque; sisters, Doris Erwin and husband Donald and Rita "Jerlene" Lowe and Ron Dampier; aunts, Eunice Hickey and Nita Childress and husband Don; and many nieces, nephews, special cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Dons memory to the West Ministerial Alliance or to the West League Booster Club.
