Don A. Gardner

Don A. Gardner, age 54, of Moody, passed away early Monday morning, November 12, 2012 at his residence. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Warrior Heart Ministries, 717 E. White Oak Road in Ross. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. Don was born December 14, 1957 in Killeen, the son of Harold R. and Gladys (Husung) Gardner. He attended schools in Killeen and was a 1976 graduate of Killeen High School. On December 30, 2009 he was united in marriage to Michelle Orbiso in Waco. Don worked as a self employed computer consultant. He was a member of the Warrior Heart Ministries in Waco. Don enjoyed taking pictures, woodworking, cooking, listening to music and watching baseball. He especially loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Michelle Gardner of Moody; a son, Austin Gardner of Moody; a daughter, Whitney Taylor and husband Travis of Lott; a grandson, Luke Taylor; a brother, John Gardner; a sister, Judy Spray; his best friend, David Brown of Moody; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Warrior Heart Ministries.
