Dero Davidson

Dero Helen Davidson, age 89, of Wilmington, Delaware, formerly of West, Texas passed away Friday, March 14, 2025 at her residence in Wilmington, DE.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Dero Helen was born February 18, 1936 near West, Texas the daughter of Alvin and Dero Louise (McMorrough) Davidson. She was a 1954 graduate of West High School prior to receiving a bachelor's and master's degree from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas. Dero worked in Civil Service for our government in Washington D.C., Japan, and mostly Germany where she served as a librarian at the United State Army Base in Schweinfurt.

Dero Helen is preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Tim Clark; and brother-in-law, Bill Balch.

Survivors include her brother, Travis Davidson and wife Kitty; sisters, Barbara Robinson and Nancy Balch; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
