Born January 19, 1958, in Clifton, Deborah, the daughter of Chesley and Elve (Harbour) Mathis, grew up in China Spring, where she attended local schools and graduated from China Spring High School in 1976. After graduating, she proudly served in the United States Air Force, demonstrating her dedication to her country. Her commitment to service continued in her career as a surgical dental assistant, where she spent many years contributing to the health and well-being of others.
