Debbie Donohue

Debbie Donohue, age 69, of Gholson, passed away Saturday morning, March 9, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her son and grandson Jake. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. Chris Silva officiating. Burial will follow at Bold Spring Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Debbie was born February 1, 1950 in Waco, the daughter of the late Charles and Zona Mae (Crabb) Donohue. She was a 1968 graduate of West High School. She was a cashier and worked in the office for HEB in Waco for more than 30 years. Debbie enjoyed traveling and working puzzles. She loved spending time with her family, especially attending all of her grandchildren's sporting events Survivors include her son, Scott Sparks and wife Cindy; a daughter, Kristy Bridger and husband Rick, all of Gholson; grandchildren, Jake W. Sparks, Jaidn Sparks, Cole Anderson, Reese Bridger and Caroline Willenborg; a sister, Donna Vanek; a niece and nephew, Krystal Vanek and Zach Vanek and wife Lindsey; great niece and great nephews, Parker Pustejovsky, Karter Vanek, Madison and Mason Vanek; and many other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Mike Nelson, Zach Vanek, Rick Bridger, Cole Anderson, Steve Stoermer, Joe Paris, Chris Cavazos, and Chris Kunkel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
