David Sherrill

David Sherrill, age 65, of West, passed away early Saturday morning, February 18, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Terry McElrath officiating. Private interment will take place at DFW National Cemetery near Dallas. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. David was born August 15, 1951 in Tullahoma, TN, the son of Ernest and Rebecca (Anderson) Sherrill. He attended schools in Tullahoma, TN and served his country with the United States Army from 1974 to 1979. On March 4, 1972 he was united in marriage to Yvonne Prosser in Tennessee. Yvonne preceded him in death on July 16, 1993. David was then united in marriage to Tina Questelle on July 13, 2001 in Waco. He worked for Raytheon, which became L-3 Communications, for over 15 years. David enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, woodworking and staying busy around the house. He was known as a hard working man who cared for and loved his family. David is also preceded in death his parents; a step-son, Gary Questelle; and a brother, Ralph Sherrill. Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Tina Sherrill of West; sons, Jason Sherrill and wife Rachel of McGregor and Huey Sherrill and wife Shannon of Marble Falls; a step-son, Kenny Questelle; step daughters, Rachael Mann of China Spring and Erica Mann and husband Kevin Bennett of Elm Mott; a brother, Mike Sherrill; 16 grandchildren, including the love of his life and oldest granddaughter, Trinity Vidrine; special friends, Gregg Waddell and wife Carol and Darrell Votaw and wife Kay; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
