Daniel Edward Williams, age 42, of Temple passed from this life during the early morning hours of Friday, January 22, 2021 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Friday March 5, 2021 at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. A Celebration of Life in honor of Daniel will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. on the family acreage located at 2281 CR 429 in Rockdale. All of Daniels friends are welcome to attend this outdoor celebration. Daniel was born on July 11, 1978 in Temple to Claude Daniel and Rose Marie (Hikel) Williams. He lived in Temple his entire life and was a 1996 graduate of Temple High School. Daniel worked for Scott and White Emergency Medical Services in Temple for many years. Daniel loved fishing and playing pool on “Lee Bob’s Crazy Eight” pool team. He loved riding motorcycles and collecting knives. Daniel was loved by all those that knew him and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone when it was needed. He was a member of the APA of Central Texas. Daniel will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He is preceded in death by his mother Rose; and his uncle, William Allen. Daniel leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Claude Daniel Williams and wife Louise of Belton; son by choice Clayton Whetzel of Temple; cousins Sarah Little of Temple, Anthony Little of San Antonio, Amy Hikel of Elm Mott, and Rudolph Hikel III of Elm Mott, Jon and Sandi Sebesta of Pflugerville, Robert and Allie Sebesta of Round Rock, Andrea Allen of Dallas, Niki Allen of Baton Rouge, LA, and William Allen of Belton. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles Robert and Judith Little of Temple, Beth and Rudolph Hikel II of Elm Mott, Alice and Larry Wilkins of Belton and Jean Williams Allen of Belton; and his many friends from Scott & White Emergency Services.
