Daniel Webre, Sr.

Daniel Thomas Webre Sr., age 62, of West, passed away early Friday afternoon, May 5, 2023 at Providence Hospital in Waco.

A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Timothy Vaverek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West.

Daniel was born January 1, 1961 in Hillsboro, the son of Margaret (Hennig) and the late Louis Webre Sr. He was a 1979 graduate of West High School. On September 11, 1982 he was united in marriage to Mary Gaydos in West. Daniel was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. He owned and operated D&M Auto Service for nearly 40 years, prior to that he worked for Archer's Texaco and Dameron's Oil Company, all in West. Daniel enjoyed working on cars, racing, fishing, sketching art, traveling to the coast, watching sports, and camping. He loved spending time with his family, especially attending all of the Webre family functions.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 41 years, Mary Webre of West; his mother, Margaret Webre of West; his children, Daniel Webre Jr and Kristen Spaniel of West, Kyle Webre and his fiancée Bethani Lee of West, and Haley Webre and Cass Deike of Georgetown; his brothers, Louis Webre Jr. and Susan Knapek, Thomas Webre and wife Patricia, Kenneth Webre and wife Cindy, David Webre and wife Donna, Andrew Webre, Phillip Webre and wife Paula, and Gregory Webre and wife Alisha; his sisters, Juanita Poteet and husband Chesley, Laura Skerik and husband Bobby, and Lydia  Nors and husband Gary; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Kolar, Louis Webre, Thomas Webre, Kenneth Webre, David Webre, Andrew Webre, Phillip Webre, and Gregory Webre.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's School Endowment Fund.
