Cynthia Mosley

Our loving Momma, Cynthia "Cindy" (Copeland) Mosley, age 84, of Axtell, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, August 6, 2022 in Waco. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Olive Branch Baptist Church near Leroy, with Dr. Rex Bland officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Cindy was born April 22, 1938 in Waco, the daughter of Girvus and Inez (Foye) Copeland. She was a 1958 graduate of China Spring High School. Cindy lived an amazing life as a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She began serving Jesus at a very young age and continued to spread His message of hope and love, right to the very moment of taking her last breath. Cindy was so incredibly proud of her family. She also had several careers, Cindy was a telegraph setter for Odessa American and the Waco Tribune Herald. She also worked for StarTex Propane. Although these careers were rewarding, her favorite career was being a foster mom through the Bear Foundation, raising a total of seven wonderful children. Cindy was a faithful member of the Olive Branch Baptist Church. She enjoyed yodeling, singing, and playing dominoes, scrabble, and cards with her friends, where she was known to cheat at any time. Cindy loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Cindy is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne B. Mosley; her parents; sisters and brother, Elizabeth Cook, Betty Jo Blalock, and Blanton Copeland; and a granddaughter, Cynthia Jean Crocker. Survivors include her sisters, Marceline Aaron and husband Jack of Rock Creek and twin sister, Rynthia Smith and husband Chesley of Bosqueville; her children, Beverly Glover and husband R.C. of Axtell, Arthur "Butch" Mosley and wife Dianna of McGregor and Dennis Hahn and wife Paige of Leonard; many adopted and foster children; her grandchildren, Cecil Mosley and wife Kortni, Kenneth Crocker, Stanton Mosley and wife Skye, Lauren Owen and husband Trevor, Brynley Hahn, Lyla Hahn, and McKenzie Hahn; ten great grandchildren plus one on the way; a sister-in-law, Wanda McMahon; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Dennis Hahn, Cecil Mosley, Kenneth Crocker, Stanton Mosley, Chester Holloway, and John Holder.
