Crystal "Carol" Skinner, age 45, of West, passed away Sunday morning, December 22, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at West Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Aderhold Funeral Home. Crystal was born June 30, 1968 in Sterling City, the daughter of David Wayne and Maida (Petty) Kelly. She attended Miles High School near San Angelo. On May 17, 2003, she was united in marriage to Emil Ralph Skinner Sr. Crystal was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed drawing and writing poems and received 2nd place on a poem her husband entered in a contest. Crystal is preceded in death by her father, David Wayne Kelly. Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Emil Skinner Sr. of West; two sons, T. Jay Sugahrue of San Angelo and Emil Skinner Jr. of West; two daughters, Misti Rose of Breckenridge and Rachael Skinner of West; her mother, Maida Kelly of Kerrville; In-Laws, Larry & Pauline Skinner of West; three sisters, Karon McNaley and husband Ronald, Carla Bruha and husband Mark and Kathy Bruha and husband Harlan; four grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers will be James Skinner, Lynn Skinner, Joshua Wallace, Mark Farley, Marc Bruha and Ted Dine. Memorials may be made to the West Brethren Church.
