Connie (Nors) Tosh, age 66, of Fort Worth, formerly of West, passed away early Tuesday afternoon, February 2, 2021 in Ft. Worth. A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Very limited capacity, facial masks, and social distancing are required at all services. LIVE STREAM of the service will be provided. Connie was born January 31, 1955 in Waco, the daughter of Joe and Edith (Holub) Nors. She was a 1973 graduate of West High School, prior to attending Hill Junior College in Hillsboro. On December 30, 1978 she was united in marriage to Gary Shepherd in West. Gary preceded her in death on March 3, 1996. On April 20, 2010, Connie married Chad Tosh in Negril, Jamaica. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. Connie was a billing specialist for Texas Health Physicians Group in Ft. Worth for the past 28 years. She enjoyed traveling, tending to her animals, entertaining, and drinking wine with family and friends. Connie is also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bob Nors; and a niece, Shelly (Janeke) Easter. Survivors include her beloved husband of 11 years, Chad Tosh of Fort Worth; a brother, T.C. Nors and wife JoAnn of Penelope; a sister, Ann Janeke and husband Richard of Reagan; two sisters-in-law, Toni Brummett and husband Tom of Alton, IL and Terri Tosh of Ft. Collins, CO; a brother-in-law, Shawn Tosh and wife Sarah of Wood River, IL; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Brandon Nors, Bryan Nors, Jeff Nors and Joey Nors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ASPCA or the charity of your choice.
