Colleen Green

Colleen Green, age 55, of Glen Rose, formerly of West, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at her residence.

Colleen was born April 13, 1967 in Hunstville, AL, the daughter of John and Donna (Casey) Colfer. She was a 1984 graduate of West High School in Davenport, IA. She worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide for many years. Colleen enjoyed painting ceramics, watching NASCAR and Dallas Cowboys football, taking care of her dog, playing cards, and visiting with people.  She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Colleen is preceded in death by her parents and a son, John David Colfer.

Survivors include her children, Austin Green and wife Sarah and Jesse Green all of Davenport, IA; sisters, Kathleen Jacobs and husband Ralph Lindgron of Lakeland, FL, and Christa Colfer of Waco; four grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Advocacy Center of Waco.
