Clifford Jones

Clifford Jones, age 70, of Waco, passed away late Monday morning, April 7, 2008 at Providence Health Center in Waco. Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bold Springs Cemetery near West, with Rev. Brad Moore officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Jones was born August 16, 1937 in Moody, the son of Herbert and Loma (Martin) Jones. In 1979 he was united in marriage to Claudia Jones in Waco. She preceded him in death on January 4, 1983. Clifford was a farmer and a member of the Kiwanis Club. He enjoyed playing dominoes and bingo. He also loved to spend time with his family and work. Clifford was a very caring and loving person. Survivors include four sisters, Faye Sanders of Ross, Hellen Wilde of Alvarado, Ann McCartney of Gholson, and Jenny Woodall of Alabama; one brother, Billy Ray Jones of Modesto, California; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
