Christine Wyninger

Christine Julia Wyninger, age 91, of West, passed away Thursday afternoon, January 10, 2007 at Aiken Regional Hospital in Aiken, South Carolina. Memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. Mrs. Wyninger was born on April 12, 1916 near West, the daughter of Lee and Rosie (Slovak) Kyselka. She grew up in West and graduated from West High School. In December of 1945, she was united in marriage to Levi Taylor Wyninger in Ft. Worth. Christine and Levi were residents of Ft. Worth and then later in the Ingleside area until he passed away in April of 1976. Christine was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her flowers. She dearly loved her cats and was well known for taking all the neighboring cats in and feeding them. She recently moved to Aiken, South Carolina to be near her son. Christine was a member of the Chamber of Commerce in West and Ingleside; the Garden Clubs in West, Ingleside, and Riverside; and the McLennan County Czech Heritage Society. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Leslie Jane Reddell, who passed away December 20, 2006. Survivors include one son, David Wyninger and wife Sandra of Aiken, SC; three sisters, Rosalie Eastwood and husband James of Gholson, Marlene Wilkerson and husband John of Ft. Worth, and Eileen Evanich of Springfield, IL; one brother, Herman Kyselka of Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren, Peyton Reddin and husband Chuck of Ft. Worth, Shari Gantenbien and husband Dave of San Francisco, CA and Jason Spakes and wife Rebecca of San Diego, CA; one great granddaughter, Lauren Reeve and husband Flint of Ft. Worth; one great great grandson, Layton Reeve; and several other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Waco Humane Society.
