Charles Max Reynolds

Charles "Max" Reynolds, of West, passed away, December 25, 2010 in Waco. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Closner Cemetery near West with Rev. Terry McElrath officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by West V.F.W. Post No. 4819. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home. Max was born January 6, 1936 in Waxahachie, the son of Charles and Geraldine Smith Reynolds. The family moved to Dallas where Max attended school and graduated from W.H. Adamson High School. He then entered the United States Navy Reserves and served for 21 years. He was a machinist. Max was a member of SPJST Lodge No. 6 in Cottonwood. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; daughter Kelly; his mother-in-law, Elfie Merenda; sister Donna Wilson; brother Larry Reynolds; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
