Charles F. Bode

Charles F. Bode, age 67, of Austin, formerly of Leroy, passed away late Friday morning, April 22, 2005 at an Austin nursing home. A rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Isidore Rozycki. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Deaconson as celebrant. Burial will follow at Gerald Cemetery. Charles was born July 24, 1937 in McLennan County, the son of John C. and Marie (Gauer) Bode. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waco. Survivors include a sister, Gloria Bode Opperman and her husband Jerry of Elm Mott; a brother, Eugene J. Bode and his wife Sarah of Garland; a nephew, Charles Bode and his wife Susan; three great nephews; and many other relatives. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Student Center at Baylor University.
