Charidy Lynn Trevino, age 50, of Waco, passed away early Sunday morning, April 28, 2024 at her parents residence in Hewitt.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Tokio Baptist Church near West, with Rev. Terry McElrath officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. till service time at the church.
Charidy was born January 1, 1974 in Toledo, Ohio the daughter of James and Becky Jo (Williams) Tobola. She attended West schools and Texas State Technical College in Waco. On May 18, 1995 she was united in marriage to Florencio "Pigeon" Trevino in Waco. Charidy was a member of the Tokio Baptist Church. She was a certified nurses assistant working for Hillcrest Women's Center in Waco, The Atrium in Bellmead, and Brookdale Nursing Home in Waco. Charidy enjoyed reading, interior decorating, caring for all animals, cooking, singing, and going to the beach and looking for sea shells. She was known as the go-to person for all problems associated with her nieces and nephews and was very charitable to many organizations. She loved spending time with her family, especially planning outdoor activities with her children.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 29 years, Florencio "Pigeon" Trevino of Waco; her children, Brianna Marie and Keegan James Trevino; her parents, James and Becky Jo Tobola of Hewitt; a brother, James Nathan Tobola and wife Desiree of Waco; her parents-in-law, Jose and Martha Ann Trevino; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Race For Cure, or to the Tokio Baptist Church.
