Carolyn Ann Dahl

Carolyn Ann (Donohue) Dahl, age 67, of Lacy-Lakeview, passed away Thursday morning, November 27, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Waco, with Rev. Jeremy Holt officiating. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. Carolyn was born November 18, 1947 in West, the daughter of Glenn Elmer and Flossie (Ellis) Donohue. She attended schools in West, Ross, Midway, and graduated from Waco High School. On June 8, 1968 she was united in marriage to Dennis O. Dahl in Waco. Dennis preceded her in death on February 6, 1998. During her career, Carolyn worked as a Laboratory Technician for Creative Dental in Waco, Summit and Centex Dental Labs. She also worked for Connally ISD. Carolyn was a Baptist. She enjoyed reading and working in her yard. She especially loved spending time with family and taking care of her grandchildren. Carolyn is also preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include three daughters, Kim Burson and husband Tommy, Kristy Schuetz and husband Jason, and Dana Martin and husband Gary, all of Waco; two brothers, Darrell Donohue and wife Lynda, and Wendell Donohue and wife Peggy; a sister, Betty Garrett; five grandchildren, Dylan, Garrett, Grant, Makenzie and Logan; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
