Brandie Svacina

Brandie G. Svacina, age 23 of Birome, passed away Thursday evening, March 23rd in a Hillsboro Hospital. Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2 p.m. Sunday, March 26th at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours, with Msgr. Isidore Rozycki, as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Penelope. Miss Svacina was born July 18, 1982 in Waco and had lived in the Penelope/Birome area all of her life. She graduated from Penelope High School in 2000 and was employed at American Income Life Ins. Company as a Customer Service Representative, for the past three years. She was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. Brandie is survived by a son, Zacharee Gage Svacina of Birome, her father Bernie Svacina of Birome, mother Cathy Svacina of McGregor; two sisters Brittnie Svacina of West and Reagain Aldridge of McGregor; a brother Justin Hutchins of McGregor; grandparents Elenora Svacina and the late Albin Svacina of West and Herbert Snider and the late Juanita Snider of McGregor; a niece Haylie Orr and nephew DEvin Orr of West and several aunts, uncles and numerous friends. The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday at Kotch Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up at West Bank & Trust, P.O. Box 279 West, Texas 76691 for her son Zacharee. Kotch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
