Bohus Chupik, Jr.

Bohus "Buddy" Chupik Jr., age 66, of Aquilla, passed away early Monday morning, March 7, 2005 at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at West Brethren Cemetery, with the Rev. Isidore Rozycki officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Chupik was born on September 29, 1938 in Ross, the son of Bohus and Marie (Wedeking) Chupik. He attended school in the Ross and Aquilla areas. He worked most all of his life as a farmer and loved working the land. He enjoyed cutting wood and was known for salvaging everything. His parents and a sister, Ruth Owen precede him in death. Survivors include two sons, Jason Chupik of Whitney and Kevin Chupik and his wife Phillis of West; one daughter, Doreen Jessup and husband Lee of Kernsville, NC; three brothers, John Chupik and wife Charlotte of Heath, Stephen Chupik of Aquilla, and Jimmy Chupik and wife Joan of Portsmouth, VA; two sisters, Betty Lindeman and husband Dave of Gun Barrel City and Carol Pekar of Lewisville; five grandchildren, Brittany Chupik, Nathan Chupik, Katilin Lander, Abbie Jessup and Olivia Jessup; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorials may be made to West Brethren Cemetery or to the charity of your choice. The family would like to give a special thanks to Joyce and Wilton West and family of Gholson for being such good friends.
