Bobby Dwain Reinke, age 65, of Irving, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 23, 2024 at William Clements University Hospital in Dallas.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bellmead, with a reception to follow at the church.
Bobby was born July 8, 1958 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Edwin and Ida Mae (Hoover) Reinke. He attended schools in Waco and was a 1976 graduate of University High School. Bobby was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bellmead. He was a counselor for many with the Stephen's Ministry, worked at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas and Gardendale Hospice. Bobby enjoyed dancing, being a very loving person, helping people, mentoring to all, and was a great organizer. "Uncle Bobby" is what everyone called him and he was known as a comedian, a prankster, and will be sorely missed.
Survivors include his sons, Brandon Reinke and wife Jeanna of Clifton and Zach Reinke and wife Carley of China Spring; a granddaughter, Davin Reinke; his partner, Brian Kerr of Irving; a sister, Judy Pratka and husband Alton of West; his brothers, Lynn Reinke and wife Cyndi of Penelope and Danny Reinke of Lacy Lakeview; a aunt, Wanda Hestlow; his granddog, Gizmo; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1301 Hogan Lane, Waco, TX 76705 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
