Bobby " Bubba" Willis, age 56, of Waco, passed away late Monday night, October 28, 2013 at the Central Texas Veterans Hospital in Temple. Per Bobby, no services will be held. To cherish the many memories of him, the family will receive visitors from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. Bubba was born August 11, 1957 in Temple, the son of Kenneth F. and Willie Mae (Ford) Willis. He attended school in Odessa and received an associate degree in automotive engineering from Odessa University. He served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was discharged at the rank of sergeant. Bubba worked for Haliburton Oil Company for 8 years in Odessa and several other drilling companies in that area. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, boating, dancing and having Bar-B-Que's. He especially loved having fun with family and friends. Bubba is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include a sister, Teresa Parrish; three brothers, Michael Benner, Curtis Benner, and Earl Wayne Benner; special friend, Brenda Hykel and her children, Victor Hykel and wife Annette, Gene Hykel and wife Misti, and Crissie Tucker and husband Curtis; Brenda's grandchildren, Tanner, Jessi and fianc Jon, and Hayden; Brenda's great granddaughter, Laney Jo; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a College Fund set for Brenda Hykel's grandchildren at the Pointwest Bank in West.
