Bobbie Lee Luco, age 89, of West, passed away early Monday morning, May 2, 2022 at West Rest Haven in West. Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church in West, with the Rev. Todd Pick and the Rev. Dr. Ann Hitt officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home. Bobbie was born December 5, 1932 in Belton, the only child of Jimmy and Betty (Lott) Roch. She attended schools in New Braunfels and Dallas before graduating from West High School in 1950. On October 27, 1950 she was united in marriage to J.T. Luco in West. J.T. preceded her in death on August 31, 2011. Bobbie was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of West. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for West Community Hospital and worked for several doctors including, Dr. Edwin Tolan, Dr. Billy Pierce, Dr. George Smith, and Dr. Jose Eisma, prior to working for the West Volunteer Ambulance Association and Providence Home Health before retiring in 1996. She then worked for Aderhold Funeral Home and volunteered for the West Senior Citizen Center for several years. Bobbie enjoyed crocheting, cooking, sewing and caring for others. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bobbie is also preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Michael Nors. Survivors include her children, Susan and Sammy Sykora of West, Jerry and Jane Luco of Houston, Paula and Donald Cernosek of Bryan, Jeff and Darlene Luco of Waco, and Kelly Nors of West; her grandchildren, Rachel Pickens, Emilie and Jason Downing, Audra and Trevor Lansdown, Braxton and Erika Luco, Leslie and Ed Muenzler, Molly and Kyle Warzon, Tiffany and Tyler Blau, Kirsten Luco, Lee Pickens, and Sierra Johnson; fifteen great grandchildren, Laynee, Brooklyn, Cooper, Julia, Mark, Lily, Ruby, Korbin, Makenna, Tenlee, Emree, Grayson, Braxton, Peyton, and Sawyer; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of West.
