Bob Macbeth

Bob Macbeth, age 66, passed away late Sunday evening, July 8, 2018 at his residence in West. As per Bob's request, no services will be held. Bob was born December 10, 1951 at Edwards Air Force Base in Edwards, California, the son of the late Archibald and Ellyn (Cunningham) Macbeth. He attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and St. John Bosco High School in California, prior to attending California State University in Los Angeles. Bob served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany. On August 21, 2002, he was united in marriage to Vena Scharen in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a printer and union advocate for the California School Employees Association, where he has served as president and union reprehensive prior to retiring in 2007. Bob enjoyed reading and music, especially classic rock and blues. He could tell you anything you wanted to know about Rock & Roll and even hung out with Captain Beefheart. He was a proud father and very active in his son's life, attending every game and event. Survivors include his wife, Vena Macbeth of West; children, Alex Macbeth and fianc, Shaylee Poole of Lancaster, CA and daughter, Brandilyn Hallcroft of Las Vegas, NV; a brother, Don Macbeth; sisters, Sheena Macbeth and Kathy Sheehan; a granddaughter, Coral Lynn Hallcroft; and several nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives.
