Betty Jane Lindeman

Betty Jane Lindeman, age 77, of Mansfield, passed away late Friday evening, December 16, 2016 at Community Hospice of Texas in Burleson. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at West Brethren Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at Aderhold Funeral Home. Betty was born October 11, 1939 near Ross, the daughter of Marie (Wedeking) and Bohus "Bob" Chupik Sr. She attended school in Ross and graduated from Aquilla High School in 1958. On January 17, 1981, she was united in marriage to David Lindeman in Grapevine. Betty worked for the United States Postal Service for several post offices in Arlington, Lewisville and Grapevine for 30 years until retiring in 2000. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bohus "Buddy" Chupik Jr.; and a sister, Ruth Marie Owen. Survivors include her beloved husband of 35 years, David Lindeman of Mansfield; her second love, her cat, Simba; brothers, John Chupik and wife Charlotte, Stephen Chupik and Jimmy Chupik and wife Joan; a sister, Carol Pekar; a brother-in-law, Willie Lindeman and wife Terrie; sisters-in-law, Mary Renfro and husband Terry and Marty Link and husband Michael; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Michael Lyons, Sammy Owen, Shawn Chupik, Robbie Chupik, Kevin Chupik, Michael Link, Chad Renfro and Tim Corder.
