Belitha Foitek Browder, age 58 of Bossier City, LA passed from this life on Thursday September 3, 2015 in Bossier City. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Monday September 7, 2015 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA with a visitation to follow at 7:00 p.m. A memorial service Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in DeRidder, with Rev. Jude Brunnert as celebrant. Belitha will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery near her hometown of West, Texas where she will have a Memorial Graveside Service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 9, 2015, with Rev. Paul Hudson officiating. Belitha was born on January 26, 1957 in Waco, Texas, the daughter of Frank and Mary Ann (Ruzicka) Foitek. She attended DeRidder High School in Louisana and graduated in 1975. She then attended Northwestern State University and later became a CNA. Belitha worked for Willis Knighten Hospital in Bossier City for 32 years as a Medical Services Technician. She was an excellent cook and really enjoyed watching the John Wayne movies with her dad. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed planting flowers at her home. Belitha was a member of the Catholic Church in Shreveport, LA. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Belitha is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Foitek who passed away on July 20, 2010. She is survived her beloved husband of 26 years, Earl Browder of Bossier City, LA; a son, Christian Logan Browder of Bossier City, LA; her father, Frank Foitek of DeRidder, LA; a brother, Evon Joe Foitek of DeRidder, LA; two sisters, Joanna Morris and husband William of Corpus Christi and Valerie Foitek of Richardson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
