Barbara Schissler

Barbara Schissler, age 71, of Ross, passed away late Tuesday evening, April 28, 2020 at her residence in Ross. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2020 at Aderhold Funeral Home in West. Barbara was born September 23, 1948 in Detroit, Maine the daughter of the late Enos and Gertrude (Schubert) Schissler. She was a 1966 graduate of Maine Central Institute. Barbara worked in West at Czech Stop for 37 years where she was President and C.E.O. She enjoyed traveling, playing mahjong, gambling in Bossier with Darlene, and spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include her son, Jay Willis and wife Amy of Ross; two granddaughters, Grace Ann Willis and Jessie Lynn Willis; two brothers, Enos Schissler Jr. and wife Judy, and George Schissler and wife Robin; a sister, Regina Schissler; her dog, Morris; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Honorary Pallbearers are her Czech Stop family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ross Volunteer Fire Department or West Ambulance Association.
