Barbara Dianne Hegar

Dianne (Lawrence) Hegar, age 62, of Ross, passed away Thursday evening, October 17, 2024 at her residence.

As per her wishes, no services will be held.

Dianne was born October 24, 1961 in Waco, the daughter of Wayne and Barbara (Griffin) Lawrence. She was a graduate of McGregor High School. On December 31, 2006 she was united in marriage to David Hegar in West. Dianne dedicated over 15 years of her career to Tractor Supply Company, while also lovingly managing her home. She enjoyed gardening and was considered to have a green thumb. Her other interests included watching movies, needle point stitching, painting, and she had a way of fixing things up to make them look new. Dianne treasured her time with family and doted on her beloved pets, Khloe, Sadie, and June.

Dianne is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Lawrence, and brothers, David Lawrence and Larry Lawrence.

Survivors include her husband of 18 years, David Hegar of Ross; mother, Barbara Jean Ballard of McGregor; son, David Hegar Jr. and significant other Chelsea Hickerson of Waco; daughter-in-law, Angela Carmony; four grandchildren, Ivy and George Coker, Ryan Carmony, Lukus Carmony, and Bo Carmony; great granddaughter, Melanie Coker; three sisters; fur babies that kept her laughing, Khloe, Sadie, and June; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
