Barbara Bobbie Larkin

Barbara "Bobbie" Larkin, age 71, of Chalk Bluff, passed away late Thursday afternoon, June 9, 2011 at her residence. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Friday at Aderhold Funeral Home by Deacon Greg George, with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cemetery, with Msgr. Isidore Rozycki officiating. Mrs. Larkin was born June 27, 1939 in West, the daughter of August J. and Albina (Sulak) Grellhesl. She attended St. Mary's School and graduated from West High School in 1957. On March 25, 1965 she was united in marriage to Edward V. Larkin in Waco. Bobbie was a homemaker and worked for the Waco Veterans Administration Hospital in Waco for a couple of years. She enjoyed her cats, shopping, doing yard work and especially loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her beloved husband of 46 years, Edward Larkin of Chalk Bluff; a son, Keith Larkin of Chalk Bluff; a brother, James Grellhesl of San Angelo; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Providence Hospice.
