Axton Hayes Engelke

Axton Hayes Engelke, seven weeks old infant of William Engelke and Lacy Martinez, of Waco, gained his wings Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Tommy Hornburg officiating. Graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Frieden's Cemetery in Riesel. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Very limited capacity, facial masks, and social distancing are required at all services. Axton was born November 9, 2020 in Waco. Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Kaycen Martinez and Evan Barnacky; a sister, Allyson Engelke; paternal grandparents, Buddy Engelke Jr. and wife Mary; maternal grandparents, Dianna Dahman and husband Mike, and Johnny Martinez and wife Lisa; aunts and uncles, Amanda Robinson and husband Zach, LeeAnn Holecek and husband Dustin, Lindsey Martinez and significant other David Duncan, and Michael Engelke; and several cousins, other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers are William Engelke, Mike Dahman, Dustin Holecek and Buddy Engelke. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Martinez and Zach Robinson.
