Austin Douglas Ivy

Austin Douglas Ivy, age 22, of Waco, passed away early Thursday morning, April 4, 2024 at Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Pastor Greg Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Bosqueville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Austin was born September 14, 2001 in Waco, the son of Joseph Ivy and Jamie Miller. He was a 2020 graduate of Harmony Science Academy in Waco. Austin was a member of the Top Hand Cowboy Church in Valley Mills. He worked in customer service for Sonic in Waco since 2018. Austin enjoyed drawing and painting. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Austin is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Deborah Jo Lindsey; his maternal grandfather, Jackie Douglas Moyer; and paternal grandmother, Linda Ivy.

Survivors include his mother, Jamie Lee Miller and husband Kevin of West; his father, Joseph Ivy of Waco; his brothers and sisters, Christopher Moyer, Blazi Ivy & Zachary Hamilton, Jaidyn Moyer & Monte Swaner, Bradin Miller, Trae Ivy, Kayden Ivy, and Paizley Ivy; his paternal grandmother, Judy Gatlin-Clark and husband Windell; his paternal grandfather, Joe Ivy; his maternal great grandfather, Joe Lindsey and wife Donna; aunt, Christie Ivy; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Christopher Moyer, Trae Ivy, Jonathan Gonzales, Tony Stokes, Will Bowar, Tim Ivy, Jason Ivy, and Kenneth Gatlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Top Hand Cowboy Church in Valley Mills.
