Audrey Dworacek

Audrey Dworacek, age 70, of Axtell, passed away late Wednesday evening, March 20, 2019 at Providence Health Center in Waco. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West with Rev. Walter Dhanwar officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Audrey was born February 11, 1949 in Edna, the daughter of A.T. and Willie (Fitch) Shows. She attended schools in Edna. On January 14, 1967 she was united in marriage to Donald Dworacek in Edna. Donald preceded her in death on June 12, 2006. Audrey was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She worked for West Rest Haven for over 12 years. Audrey enjoyed cooking, traveling, fishing, camping and cookouts. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Audrey is also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, James and Ronnie Shows. Survivors include her son, Donnie R. Dworacek Jr. of Axtell; brothers, Raymond Shows and wife Marie of Port Lavaca and Darwin Shows and wife Sallie of Splendora; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
