Arturo Gonzalez Medina, Sr.

Arturo Gonzalez Medina, age 47, of Mount Calm, passed away early Saturday morning, February 22, 2020 the result of an automobile accident near Lorena. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Friday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 noon Saturday, February 29, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Timothy Vaverek as celebrant. Burial will follow at National Cemetery near Penelope. Arturo was born November 1, 1972 in San Lorenzo, the son of Florencio and Margarita (Medina) Gonzalez. He attended Francisco Villa schools in San Lorenzo. On January 12, 2001 he was united in marriage to Ana Perez in San Lorenzo. Arturo worked for Quality Brickworks in Robinson for the past several years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Arturo is also preceded in death by his father, Florencio Gonzalez and a sister, Beatriz Gonzalez Medina. Survivors include his beloved wife of 19 years, Ana Gonzalez of Mount Calm; his mother, Margarita Medina Miranda; his children, Maria Gonzalez, Arturo Gonzalez Jr. and Anabell Gonzalez; his sisters, Adela Gonzalez Medina and Rosa Maria Gonzalez Medina; his brothers, Orlando Gonzalez Medina and Jose Gonzalez Medina; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Orlando Gonzalez, Ampelio Gonzalez, Arturo Gonzalez, Alvaro Gonzalez, Osiel Rodarte and Nacho Rodarte. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of your choice.
