Arnie Grona

Arnold "Arnie" Grona, age 75, of Wichita Falls, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at his residence.

Arnold was born August 5, 1949 in Webb County, the son of the late Jay and Margaret (Woitena) Grona. He was married to Patricia Blaylock for 35 years before she preceded him in death on February 19, 2023. Arnold's career was spent with the demands of working heavy machinery on construction sites. Outside of work, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, which offer a sense of peace and adventure. Most importantly, Arnold valued spending quality time with family and friends, emphasizing the importance of relationships in his life. You could likely find him hanging out with friends at The Promiseland and or taking time for his family. He loved to laugh and was always telling jokes. He was a very loving and generous man with a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back.

Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Carroll, Crystal Grona-Coffman and significant other Jason Blevins, and Kathy Jean Moore; daughter-in-law, Karen Tatum; grandchildren, Calvin, Cody, Alexis, Patience, Hoyt, Cash, and Shayne; two great-grandchildren, Vadah and River; brother, Ronnie Grona and wife Deborah; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his beloved fur-babies, Boo and Sadie.
