Antoinette Humphries, age 82, of Aquilla formerly of Rockledge, Florida, passed away early Tuesday afternoon, May 29, 2007 at West Rest Haven in West. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Brevard Memorial Park in Cocoa, FL with Rev. Wade Humphries officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home in Rockledge. Mrs. Humphries was born December 14, 1924 in New York, NY the daughter of Dominick and Anna (Frisca) Billera. She attended schools in the greater New York area. On October 26, 1946 she was united in marriage to Herbert Eugene Humphries in New York. Antoinette was a homemaker and Mother. She was a life member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Frances and Rosie. Survivors include a daughter, Claudia "Chum" Hancock of Aquilla; a son, Wayne "Buddy" Humphries and wife Deborah of Perry, FL; a sister, Alice Cunaccia of Springhill, FL; for grandchildren, Shelly Hancock, Jeff Humphries and wife Erin, Shane Hancock and wife Kim, and Rev. Wade Humphries and wife Claire; seven great grandchildren, Felicia & Brooke Hancock, Lizzie Humphries, Dylan & Macy Hancock, and Cameron & Caleb Humphries; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
